Phil Johnson has an action packed show filled with his two loves, comedy and music. It’s a show filled with sharp unexpected turns, sneak attack jokes, and hilarious songs that doesn’t shy away from controversial territory… race, sex, religion, and doughnuts – so many doughnuts – all delivered from the viewpoint of a guy who happily grew up in the deeply multi-everything community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Phil has been seen and heard at the Sundance Film Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on Sirius/XM, Bob and Tom radio, and Amazon Prime. He’s also released multiple comedy specials and albums filled with his colorful, tightly-written comedy.

My marketing focuses on tightly targeted ads that bring new fans into my private fan community (The Philogelos) on a daily basis. They interact with me through email, regular social media channels, private Philogelos social media channels, weekly livestreams, one-on-one conversations, and merchandise purchases before they've even come to their first live show.
So when I arrive in your town to perform at your venue, they're excited, primed for a good time, and bringing friends.
I release something new - comedy or music - every two months or so and my full catalog of releases is over 9 hours long, including 4 hour-long comedy specials. I post on regular social media as well, but my marketing plan doesn't rely on "spray and pray" content and the luck of the algorithms.
I'm easy to work with. No drinking or drugs. If I'm playing music as part of the show at your venue, my set-up and soundcheck is quick and painless and I carry all the connections I need to make it happen.
